Wheelchair accessible
The old block had no accessible toilet. The new building includes a full wheelchair accessible room with grab rails and stainless fixtures.
Case Study
Transformation
The old O’Shea Esplanade South toilet block was a simple facility with no power and no accessible toilet. MyBuild Commercial demolished it and built a new amenity building with a wheelchair accessible toilet, a dedicated baby change area, power, lighting and CCTV, finished in robust materials suited to the coastal conditions.
Under a minute from the old unpowered toilet block to the new accessible amenity on O’Shea Esplanade, built for Cairns Regional Council.

MyBuild managed the project from demolition and site preparation through to construction, services, finishes and landscaping, with a strong focus on quality and a clean, professional result.
