The existing bathroom was functional but dated, with a bath and shower combination, a fabric shower curtain, a double vanity and warm beige finishes. The bath was removed and replaced with a generous walk-in shower, creating a significantly easier and safer entry, while a frameless glass screen keeps the shower zone open and lets light pass through the space.

A safer, more accessible bathroom that never feels clinical
The existing bathroom was functional but dated. The client is elderly, so the renovation needed to address changing mobility needs and provide a safer, more accessible bathroom environment while maintaining a refined and contemporary aesthetic.
A key priority was to improve the bathroom’s safety, accessibility and ease of use without making the space feel institutional or clinical.
